By engaging with a financial advisor who charges a fee for their work, you are assured of number of things. Firstly, the advisor is being paid to produce a financial recommendation or set of recommendations for you. The service is advice driven, not sales or product driven. There are instances where financial products may be deemed suitable to your requirements, and there are instances where they are not. Each report is unique and tailored towards the client.
Because the advisor is paid for their work, they are not dependent on “selling” product to get paid. In my 11 years in business I have looked after hundreds of clients who did not need to purchase any financial products, they just needed a steer in the right direction, in areas ranging from retirement claims, pension transfers and everything in between.
